'Nudge' Your Customers to Return with Free NudgeMail Widget
It's challenging enough to bring customers to your site the first time, but what about bringing them back? How can you remind them to return for, say, the big sale you're holding, the Webcast you're hosting, or the major announcement you're making?
Simple: set up a NudgeMail Widget. All you do is fill out the particulars of the event -- date, time, description, etc. --then copy the supplied code to your Web site.
When a visitor clicks the "Remind Me" button, it generates a new e-mail to send to NudgeMail -- which itself is a terrific reminder service that delivers messages at a designated time (more on that in a future post).
And that's it. NudgeMail will send an e-mail reminder at the appropriate time, hopefully bringing the visitor back to your site without any extra action on your part. And because it's opt-in, the customer should welcome the message rather than looking upon it as spam from your company.
It would be nice if NudgeMail's button could include some information about the event itself, rather than just the generic "Remind Me" message, but if you place it properly on your site (i.e. label it yourself), it shouldn't cause any confusion.
This is a quick, easy, and effective way to bring customers back to your site. And that's what it's all about, right?
