NRCC Up With Ad In Louisiana Special Election

The question of whether the National Republican Congressional Committee would be spending money on behalf of former GOP state Rep. Woody Jenkins in next month’s special election in Louisiana has been answered.

The committee went up tonight with an ad attacking Democratic state Rep. Don Cazayoux, portraying him as a “liberal with a long record of voting for higher taxes and fees — sales taxes, income taxes, grocery taxes, utility taxes, and even allowed for an increase in college tuition.”

The ad comes after the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee aired its own ad earlier this week accusing Jenkins of failing to fully pay taxes on his business.
