No Traffic Charges Vs. 'Lost' Star

Traffic charges against Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje of ABC's "Lost" were dropped after defense attorneys proved he has a driver's license.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who plays Mr. Eko on the drama, was charged with driving without a license and disobeying a police officer after he was taken into custody Sept. 2 in Waikiki.

Attorneys for the actor proved Tuesday in district court that he has a driver's license.

Following his arrest, Akinnuoye-Agbaje spent about six hours in jail before being released on $500 bail.

He plays a former African drug lord who has taken on the identity of a priest on "Lost," which is shot in Hawaii. The actor is also known for his role as Simon Adebisi on HBO's controversial prison drama "Oz."
