No Stranger To Detective Work

Emmy Award winning actor Andre Braugher is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Det.Frank Pembleton in the 1990s drama series, "Homocide: Life on the Street."

But his detective work didn't end with that series, which went off the air several seasons ago, he explained on The Early Show. He's now fighting crime on the CBS drama "Hack," starring as police detective Marcellus Washington.

In "Hack," Washington (Braugher) is the long time friend and former partner of Mike Olshansky, (David Morse). Olshansky is an ex-cop turned taxi driver who seeks redemption by fighting and righting the wrongs of others. Washington is in Olshansky's debt and he cautiously gives him the inside information he needs to help others.
