The song by the 25-year-old Queens, N.Y.,  rapper is a staple on radio and Minaj recently performed the tune at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards pre-show last weekend.

"Your Love" is also Billboard Number 1 rap hit, the first by a female rapper in more than eight years.

She was initially reluctant to release the song, but was forced to after it leaked - and eventually blew up - on the Internet, according to MTV News.

In a line from the tune, the female M.C. says emphatically that for "your love she will 'Die Hard' like Bruce Willis." Her verbal word play is tongue-and-cheek yet undeniably addictive from first listen to the tune's throbbing backbeat.

"Your Love" is not the only song from Nicki Minaj to get high praises for its lyrics; her verses on the Kanye West collaboration "Monster" featuring Rick Ross and Bon Iver have people saying the tune is the thing of which Grammy nominations are made.
