Nickelodeon announces Kids' Choice Awards nominees

LOS ANGELES -- Stormtroopers, superheroes, dinosaurs and Cinderella are among the nominees at this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

The cable network announced Tuesday that "Ant-Man," ''Avengers: Age of Ultron, "Cinderella," ''Daddy's Home," ''Jurassic World," ''Pitch Perfect 2," ''Star Wars: The Force Awakens," and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" are up for the favorite film prize at the 29th annual ceremony.

The slime-filled extravaganza honoring kids' pop-culture picks will be held March 12 at the Forum in Inglewood, California. Blake Shelton is serving as host of the viewer-voted honors.

Other nominees include "The Big Bang Theory," ''The Flash," ''Modern Family," ''Once Upon a Time," ''The Muppets" and "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." for favorite family TV show.

The Kids' Choice Awards has added favorite cooking show and music collaboration as categories this year.
