NY police search for man allegedly seen wheeling body on dolly
NEW YORK -- Investigators are looking for a man who was allegedly seen wheeling around the body of a woman on a dolly in New York City, reports CBS New York.
Police say 31-year-old Anthony Lopez was spotted moving the body on Staten Island, at around 7 a.m. Friday, but when officers responded to the scene Lopez fled.
Officers discovered the body of a black female, who is about 25 to 30 years old, wrapped in a blanket on the dolly, according to CBS New York. She was declared dead at the scene, but a cause of death is not yet known.
Police say Lopez is known to investigators because of an extensive criminal history.
