New York City envisioned without any people at all

(CBS News) We've seen it done with Seattle and San Francisco previously. Now we take a look at New York City envisioned as empty landscape without people in this amazing ongoing series.

This latest work created by Ross Ching and posted by Thrash Lab, an Ashton Kutcher project, write about it:

Thrash Lab's "Empty America" timelapse travel series takes you to New York City. All the bridge and tunnel people have been sent home and Manhattan has been wiped empty! Penn Station, Wall Street, Central Park, Times Square, The Met and Fifth Avenue have never looked so vacant.

There is an irony to the timing of this one, as the city prepares for Hurricane Sandy and the streets are beginning to become empty already, but it is still striking to see a city the size of New York devoid of people.  Another amazing piece of work that has earned a triple-rainbow salute of awe from us here at The Feed.
