New James Bond title, cast to be announced Thursday

Mark your calendars, Bond fans -- a big 007 announcement is coming this week.

The title and cast of the next James Bond film will be revealed Thursday.

A tweet from the official Bond Twitter account teased the news on Tuesday:

The announcement will also be streamed live on 007.com. A photo call with the cast is also said to be taking place in London at 11 a.m. local time, hosted by EON, MGM and Sony Pictures.

"Bond 24," as the film has been called (at least up until the new title is revealed), will see the return of Daniel Craig for his fourth outing as the British superspy. Ralph Fiennes (M), Ben Whishaw (Q) and Naomie Harris (Moneypenny) are also said to be reprising their roles, and "Skyfall" helmer Sam Mendes will be back in the director's chair.

It's also been rumored that Christoph Waltz will be joining the cast, reportedly as a classic Bond villain.

This next film in the James Bond franchise is set to be released in November 2015.
