Nets Sign Feick - Rony Waived
Jamie Feick signed a six-year contract with the New Jersey Nets on Tuesday.
The team also waived on veteran center Rony Seikaly.
Feick, a free agent who led the Nets in rebounding, will earn about $15 million under terms of the agreement the team announced Sunday.
Seikaly, 34, missed almost all of this past lockout-shortened season with a sprained ankle and then a foot injury. He scored 13 points in 88 minutes, finishing the season nine shy of 10,000 career points.
For his career Seikaly has averaged 14.7 points and 9.5 rebounds.
