Netflix unveils first "Wet Hot American Summer" teaser

Netflix is bringing back "Wet Hot American Summer" in the form of a series -- and we're getting a first look at the show and the hot stars taking part in it.

Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter are all involved in "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp," per the first teaser released this week.

"Wet Hot American Summer," which came out in 2001, was set on the last day of camp -- in the hot summer of 1981. It followed a group of counselors trying to complete their unfinished business before the day ends. The movie didn't perform well at the box office, but has since attracted a cult following. It featured several budding actors who went on to become big stars.

The new Netflix series will tell the story of the first day of Camp Firewood's famous summer season, now 14 years after the film's debut.

The 8-episode limited series will premiere this summer on Netflix.
