NC Web Company Expanding In SC, Adding 1,000 Jobs
Officials say a North Carolina Internet marketing and sales company will expand and move its headquarters to South Carolina, creating 1,000 new jobs in the next few years.
The South Carolina Commerce Department said Wednesday that Red Ventures will move its headquarters from Charlotte, N.C., to Lancaster County. The company plans to add 100 new positions by the end of the year and add hundreds in the next five to seven years.
Red Ventures Chief Financial Officer Mark Brodsky says Lancaster County has a good business environment and access to a skilled labor force. It plans a ribbon cutting ceremony in a few weeks.
Red Ventures was ranked 17th among the fastest-growing private companies in the nation by Inc. magazine last year. It will invest more than $20 million in its new facility.
