NBA star Chris Paul buys Avril Lavigne's Bel Air mansion
(CBS) Singer Avril Lavigne's Bel Air mansion, which had been on the market for the last six months, finally sold to Los Angeles Clippers' point guard Chris Paul.
The NBA All-Star, who just signed a $68 million, four-year- NBA contract, bought Lavigne's Mediterranean-style home for $8.5 million, according to Zillow.com.
The home has 8 bedrooms, 10 baths and boasts fountains, a pool and an expansive lawn. The basement contains a wine cellar and tasting room and a large gym with bath and sauna, according to Zillow.
Lavigne listed the mansion last May after divorcing her husband of three years, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley. Before Lavigne and Whibley moved in, the mansion was owned by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and his wife.
