Naked man gets noticed in Delaware clothing store
(CBS/KYW) CHRISTIANA, Del. - A man arrested in a Delaware clothing store didn't seem all that worried about his wardrobe.
Authorities say Darrell J. Coleman of Wilmington entered the Burlington Coat Factory near Newark, Del. about 11:20 Friday morning fully clothed. But then he allegedly stripped down and ran naked through the store, CBS affiliate KYW reported.
Coleman, police say, ignored requests by store employees asking him to leave.
Police say at one point an elusive, naked Coleman, 20, bumped into a 72-year-old female customer, slightly injuring her, KYW reported.
Several employees managed to subdue the suspect until police arrived and took him into custody.
Authorities say he was taken to Christiana Hospital to undergo a mental evaluation. Charges are pending.
Several employees and a customer were treated for minor injuries.
