(CBS) MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - A 42-year-old man was arrested for stealing 102 bottles of nail polish from a CVS pharmacy in central Connecticut, according to CBS affiliate WFSB.

Either he has a very needy girlfriend, or someone ran out of paint.

Police said Marco Gonzalez went into a CVS in Middletown Thursday night, April 18, "and started selecting and concealing Essie and Sally Hansen brand nail polishes into his sweatshirt," reports WFSB.

Total retail value of the bottles, reportedly more than $860. Gonzalez was caught by a security guard and police were called immediately, the station said.

CVS officials said they wanted to press charges so Gonzales was arrested and charged with larceny.

He was released on $10,000 bond and was given a court date of May 1.
