Mujahideen Youths Movement Confirms Somali Leader's Death The Mujahideen Youth Movement released an Internet statement confirming the death of its commander, Adem Hashi Ayro. The statement said that US warplanes struck a house sheltering group members in the town of Dusamareb, 500 km north of the capital Mogadishu, at dawn. The statement, which was dated May 1st, claims the air strike killed a number of "mujahedeen,"
including the group's commander Abu Mohsen al Ansari, who is known as Sheikh Mohyeddin Mohammed Omar. It also says Ayro educated hundreds of Mujahideen about Sunna and Sharia.

"Among those who joined the martyrs' caravan today was brave commander and true hero, Abu Mohsen al-Ansari (Sheikh Adem Hashi Ayro), who terrorized the infidels," the statement said. "We ask God to accept his martyrdom, and grant him a place in the highest paradise."

The statement stresses that all of those killed in the air raid got the martyrdom status they always sought to reach, and vowed to avenge them.

"The generation that was brought up by Sheikh Abi Mohasen and Sheikh Mohyeddin, shall remain a thorn in the throats of the crusaders. God willing, they will take their revenge from America, raiser of the Cross, and its allies."
