'Mr. Right, Right Now'

The Early Show started its series, "How to Find Mr. Right," with a visit from Elle magazine's advice columnist, E. Jean Carroll.

She has written a new book, "Mr. Right, Right Now," which promises that any woman can find her dream man in just six weeks.

To test her theory, The Early Show found two successful, smart, attractive women to subject themselves to Carroll's weekly regimen.

Carroll tells co-anchor Hannah Storm, the foundation of the Six Week Program is for women to be the best selves they can be. The book tries to do a little fine-tuning by accomplishing the following weekly goals.

Week One: Get the right mindset.
Week Two: Enhance natural assets.
Week Three: Get rid of fears.
Week Four: Learn to torture the fellows.
Week Five: Learn how not to intimidate the poor blokes.
Week Six: Land Mr. Right.

So for the next six weeks, The Early Show will take Tracy and Lirone through the steps to finding "Prince Charming."

Carroll says, "I'm going to be watching to see your man-chasing styles. There are three: the offensive, which is like the Missy Elliott style, very bold and forward; the shy, sort of Princess Di style, which is the defensive style; and the 'Mr. Right, Right Now' style, which they will learn. The mindset is you're going to be magnificently indifferent to the male beast!"

Carroll is certain her strategy will work for three reasons.

She says, "Number one: Mother Nature has designed these women to find and seduce men. The second thing is: men, when they meet a woman, decide almost everything about them in 30 seconds. And the third reason is, love at first sight, so when a man and woman meet each other and they like one another, they will synchronize. We've seen tapes on this. The cutting-edge research is amazing. They start to mirror each other's movements and it looks like dancing. All we have to do is take these adorable girls, put them in to situations where there are a lot of men."

There will be weekly homework assignments that the women must complete.

"You have to go to a party with 23 eligible men." Carroll says. For those who don't necessarily have this opportunity, she suggests, "Go to a cigar bar, lots of men there; lots of men at pool hall or Lakers game, lots of men there. You put yourself where there are men: a barbershop, a sporting event."

Assignments will be given each week live on The Early Show.

The following week, we will show video of how the women did, get E. Jean Carroll's analysis, and hear about the progress the woman are making.

The goal of the women is to find "Mr. Right" by Valentine's Day.
