More episodes ordered for "New Girl"
Fox reportedly has ordered an additional 11 episodes of her sitcom "New Girl" from 20th Century Fox TV and Chernin Entertainment. It is the first of the new shows to get a full season of 24 episodes.
According to Variety, the comedy about an offbeat woman who moves in with three male roommates was Fox's highest-rated sitcom debut in 10 years. The second episode this week brought in 9.3 million viewers, down from 10.3 million at its debut.
Variety is also predicting that "2 Broke Girls" on CBS and "Whitney" on NBC will get green lights for more episodes.
