Monica marries Los Angeles Lakers' Shannon Brown for the second time

(CBS) R&B singer Monica has married Los Angeles Lakers player Shannon Brown - for the second time.

The couple, who quietly wed in November, tied the knot again in a larger ceremony on Saturday in front of hundreds of family and friends, People magazine reports.

According to the magazine, the two exchanged vows at Vibiana, a renovated 19th century cathedral in downtown Los Angeles. Guests, including Lala Vazquez, Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher, were asked to wear shades of blue for the event, while the bride wore a gown by Stephan Roland.

Following the ceremony, guests reportedly enjoyed a three-course dinner at a purple and blue-themed reception.

Monica has two sons - Rodney Jr., 6, and Romelo, 3 - with ex-fiance Rodney Hill. Brown also has a son from a previous relationship.
