Militant Islamist Websites Trying to Reach Out To Muslim Youths in the West

The Iraqi insurgent group the Army of al Rashideen announced today that it launched a new English website to follow the trend of several other groups and militants Islamist websites adding sections in English, French Turkish and other languages in order to reach out to a wider audience and especially Muslims living in Western countries.

Along the same lines, the jihadi publication house al Fursan media released its first English online magazine called "Jihad Recollections." Al Frusan claimed the new magazine aims to educate on the latest news, as well as on the "worldview of the jihadi current." According to the announcement, the magazine will also "serve as a platform for the English-speaking Muslim community to discuss their ideas, differences and thoughts on various issues related to the Islamic world and the hot issues which many stay silent on."

The 70-page magazine includes a variety of articles including military preparation courses, discussions on establishing Islamic law in the West and lectures by al Qaeda leader.
