Miley Cyrus' alleged stalker arrested after burglary attempt, say cops

(CBS) - A man has been arrested for trespassing after allegedly trying to break into the home of teen pop star Miley Cyrus, according to a report.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, who spoke to celebrity website X17online, 26-year-old Musa Danasabe Ibrahim was caught snooping around Cyrus' neighbor's lawn.

"Ibrahim was trying to make entry into Miley Cyrus' house, but he got the houses mixed up," a spokesperson told X17online. "When we arrived on scene, we found him in her neighbor's yard. He was arrested for trespassing."

An eyewitness told the celebrity website that the suspect claimed to have a date with the Disney actress.

The site reports that Ibrahim's bail has been set at $5,000.
