"Fantastic Four" star Miles Teller was a real life hero over the weekend.
The actor helped rescue a pregnant woman and her child caught in a rip tide at a Miami beach on Sunday, People reports.
Teller, 28, was photographed leading the woman out of the ocean. His girlfriend, model Keleigh Sperry, reportedly watched from the sand as he pulled her and the child to shore.
He and Sperry, 22, have been in Miami while he films the movie "Arms and the Dudes," alongside Jonah Hill. He's also known for roles in last year's "Whiplash," the "Divergent" films and "The Spectacular Now."
Teller will be seen on the big screen next in the new reboot of "Fantastic Four" -- in which Teller plays Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic -- which opens in theaters Aug. 7.
