Mila Kunis is the new face of Dior
(CBS) Mila Kunis has been signed as the newest face of Dior.
The actress will appear in ads for the French fashion house's Miss Dior handbag starting later this month (see two more of the ads below).
"I am absolutely thrilled to be working with Dior," Kunis said in a statement obtained by the Hollywood Reporter. "The brand is iconic in so many ways. It defines fashion, elegance and sophistication."
The ad campaign, photographed by Mikael Jansson, will launch in international editions of Elle, Vogue and Madame Figaro, according to WWD, starting with China on Jan. 15 and followed by Italy, Russia and France. It will make its way to the U.S. on Jan. 29, where it will debut in the New York Times and then in magazines like Vanity Fair and Harper's Bazaar.
"Mila Kunis is a very talented young actress; she embodies the true modern woman. Her performance in 'Black Swan' was remarkable. She is very gifted," said Delphine Arnault, deputy general manager at Dior, told WWD. "We are looking forward to a long relationship with her."
Kunis joins a list of stars with ties to Dior, including Marion Cotillard (who has posed in ads for Lady Dior handbags), Natalie Portman (the face of Miss Dior Cherie perfume) and Charlize Theron (who reps the J'adore Dior fragrance).
