The Academy Award-nominated actress told Ryan Seacrest on his Los Angeles radio show that she would be open to returning to the show, even though her character, bad-girl Jen Lindley, was killed off in the two-part season finale which aired in 2003, reports ContactMusic.com.

"In a heartbeat I would go back, but I would have to go back as a ghost," Williams told Seacrest, according to the site.

Harvey Weinstein, the producer of her new film "My Week With Marilyn," even quipped that he would be on board to produce the series, saying "I will produce it...It's gonna be a period piece."

Williams starred in the show from 1998 to 2003 along with cast members Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson.
