Michael Lohan arrested in West Hollywood for alleged domestic violence

(CBS/KHSL/AP) WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Lindsay Lohan's estranged father Michael Lohan has been arrested for allegedly holding his girlfriend against her will and preventing her from calling the police, officials say.

Los Angeles County deputies were dispatched to Lohan's apartment after receiving a domestic violence call that was placed Monday night at 9 p.m.

The 51-year-old was booked for investigation of preventing a report of victimization, false imprisonment and infliction of corporal injury on a cohabitant - all felonies. Bail is set at $200,000.

While at the police station, Lohan complained of chest pains and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after booking, reports CBS affiliate KHSL.

Lohan has a history of arrests in New York over allegations of harassment from ex-girlfriends.
