Mel B: I was in a relationship with a woman for four years
Mel B spiced up her life at one point with a woman.
Although she's married to film producer Stephen Belafonte, before she walked down the aisle with her husband of seven years the Spice Girl dated a woman.
"Well, I did have a four-year relationship with a woman," she recently told the U.K.'s Guardian. "But I've been very happily married for seven years to a penis. Haha! An amazing guy."
Mel B says she got involved with Crista Parker, a woman who had children attending the same Los Angeles school as her daughter Phoenix.
When asked if she's in an open relationship with Belafonte Mel B said, "No, me and my husband are very tight and solid. But I will be the first one to compliment a woman, to say to my husband, 'Oh my God, look at her legs'; or 'Doesn't she look stunning?' I do think women are gorgeous. Crazy but gorgeous."
Mel B and Belafonte married June 6, 2007, in Las Vegas.
Last year, Mel B stopped by CBS News to chat about "For Once in My Life," her first solo single in eight years. More recently she's served as a judge on "The X Factor" in the U.K.
