NEW YORK (CBS) Looking for non-traditional wedding ideas? Here's one for you: host your wedding at McDonald's.

Starting in January 2011, three Hong Kong McDonald's restaurants will be rolling out a service that will allow couples to have their nuptials beneath the famed golden arches.

According to CNN, the wedding package will start around $1,000 and will include a ceremony, reception, decorations, personalized menu and catering, complete with an apple pie wedding cake.

The drawbacks: alcohol is prohibited and the franchise will most likely not close down the restaurant for you, so except to see a few uninvited guests.

The fast-food chain said it got the idea when a couple, who met and dated at a McDonald's, held their wedding party at one of the eateries.

Helen Cheung, McDonald's Hong Kong director of corporate communications and relations, said response for the service has been good. She says the chain receives about 10 calls a month about weddings.
