(KANSAS CITY, MO.) – John McCain and Sarah Palin continue their swing state tour this morning with a rally in the Kansas City suburb of Lee's Summit later today. Palin was originally scheduled to campaign on her own this week, but instead will keep up the joint appearances.
"We're riding a lot of momentum coming out of the convention," said senior adviser Mark Salter. "The senator himself thought they should continue on together for a few more days."
The Republican ticket will stay together through most of this week, with rallies in Lebanon, Ohio, and Lancaster, Pennsylvania, tomorrow.
