Marlena Mints, Texas health teacher and coach, accused of having sex with students

(CBS) CEDAR HILL, TEXAS - A school health teacher near Dallas has been arrested for allegedly having sex with two students, according to CBS DFW.

Marlena Mints, 31, has been charged with one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of improper relationship with students, reports the station.

The health teacher and coach was placed on administrative leave after The Cedar Hill Independent School District learned about the allegations. CBS DFW reports a fellow coach told police that a student was talking about his sexual relationship with Mnts.

The station reports that according to the arrest warrant, the teacher exchanged text messages with a 13-year-old. He reportedly told her that he was having problems with his penis and she said she could help, but she would have to see it. When the student exposed himself, she allegedly performed oral sex on him. The student said that he and other classmates were allowed to touch her breast and buttocks while spending time in her classroom.

Police say a high school senior is the second victim, and that student and Mints reportedly exchanged messages through a smart phone app. Mints asked the alleged victim if he wanted to "hang out" and if he liked "white girls." The arrest warrant, according to the station, said Mints picked the student up, drove him to her home and also engaged in oral sex with him. Evidence of the messages exchanged with Mints are on his phone, police say.

CBS DFW reports Mints is in the DeSoto Regional Jail. School officials are said to be cooperating with police in the investigation.
