Marilyn Manson and Casey Anthony top E-Poll's "Creepiest Celebrities" list
(CBS) Rocker Marilyn Manson and Casey Anthony, the Florida mom acquitted of killing her 2-year-old daughter, couldn't be more different, but according to a poll released Thursday, quite a few people believe they in fact have a lot in common - "creepiness."

Manson was voted 69 percent "creepy" in comparison to Anthony's 57 percent score in a survey conducted by E-Poll Market Research in anticipation of Halloween, reports Reuters.
Former football player OJ Simpson, who was acquitted of murdering his wife, and to whom Anthony has been compared, came in third behind 25-year-old.
Next on the list are reality stars Spencer Pratt and "Octomom" Nadya Suleman, who gained notoriety after she gave birth to octuplets.
Former "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen, who made headlines this year with his public breakdown and rants at his former CBS bosses, was voted 34 percent "creepy," tying for sixth place with former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, who was involved in a prostitution scandal in 2008, reports Reuters.
While there are a group of people who are deemed creepy in a negative way, for some of the celebrities creepiness is a part of their "cool."
Manson's fans love him for his all-black, gothic-inspired look and his dark lyrics. The same goes for filmmaker Tim Burton, and his "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Sweenty Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street."
``Tim Burton puts on a look and plays it up, and his movies are eerie and creepy but also entertaining fun,'' said Gerry Philpot, president and chief executive of E-Poll Market Research, which tracks people's popularity in the media.
E-Poll surveyed 1,100 people who ranked celebrities between 1-100, with the lowest scores being the most negatively portrayed and disliked. The list is derived from the survey as voters selected "creepy" from 46 other attributes.
