On The Shelf For Decades
A never before published book by Charlotte Bronte, author of "Jane Eyre" (one of the most popular novels in the English literary canon), made its debut in the Times of London newspaper — 165 years after it was written.
The novella, "Stancliffe's Hotel", was written when Bronte was 23 years old. It is supposedly racier than anything published during the lifetime of its author.
Bronte's biographer Heather Glen visited The Saturday Early Show to tell where the writing has been hiding all these years.
