Man with Gun Causes Lockdown at Knox Elementary in San Diego
(CBS/KFMB) Police have lifted a lockdown at Knox Elementary School in San Diego, after reports of a man in the area with a gun Tuesday just after 10:30 a.m.
A suspect has not been found, but San Diego police officers are still in the Lincoln Park area searching for an adult male.
According to the San Diego Union Tribune, police say a man, who was possibly drunk or disoriented, was spotted carrying a gun in the playground behind the school by a maintenance worker.
The man was described as Latino, wearing a dark sweatshirt and jeans that appeared dirty looking.
No injuries have been reported.
