Man violently attacks 75-year-old during robbery at Pa. gas station

(CBS) PHILADELPHIA - Police in Philadelphia are looking for a suspect seen on surveillance video beating and robbing a 75-year-old man in a gas station convenience store, reports CBS Philly.

The incident reportedly happened on September 18 at around 5:45 p.m. at a Getty gas station.

In the video, the 75-year-old victim is seen standing at the counter, reportedly purchasing lottery tickets, when the suspect suddenly sucker-punches him.

The victims falls to the ground and while on the floor the suspect continues to punch and kick the victim in the head, face and body.

According to the station, the suspect stole $40 in cash and lottery tickets from the victim before running out of the store.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6'0'' tall, weighing approximately 240 lbs., partially balding in the front of his head and with dreadlocks in the back.

Police are asking those with information on this crime to call 911.
