Man suspected of triple homicide on the run in Northern Calif.
(CBS/AP) SHINGLETOWN, Calif.- Authorities are looking for Shane Franklyn Miller, a 45-year-old man suspected of killing his wife and two daughters last night at his home in rural Northern California.
According to CBS San Francisco,, police have identified the suspect's wife as Sandy Miller, and the two daughters as 4-year-old Shasta Miller and 8-year-old Shelby Miller.
CBS affiliate KHSLTV reports that police arrived on the scene just after 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. There they found 3 bodies but no witnesses.
Shasta County sheriff's Lt. Tom Campbell said Miller remains at large. Authorities have released his photo and they believe he may be driving either a gold 2010 Dodge Mega Cab pickup or a green and tan 2011 Ford Excursion. Miller is considered armed and extremely dangerous.
According to KHSLTV, authorities have issued a nationwide manhunt bulletin.
In a Shasta County press release, Miller is described as a white male with red hair and blue eyes, standing 5'10'' tall and weighing 200 pounds.
