Man pleads guilty to harassing Rose McGowan
(CBS/AP) DERBY, Conn. - A Connecticut man has pleaded guilty to harassing actress Rose McGowan.
Louis Santo pleaded guilty on Monday in the Derby Superior Court to second-degree threatening, harassment and breaching of peace. His sentence includes three years of probation as well as no form of contact with McRowan and others in the entertainment industry he's accused of harassing.
According to court documents, Santo proclaimed his love for McGowan via Twitter posts. He also wrote "U will be gone," and was able to obtain and call her cell phone number.
McGowan, best known for her role on the TV series "Charmed," admits she was "severly unnerved" by Santo.
His lawyer claims Santo is not dangerous and had no intention of traveling to California.
