(CBS) ARLINGTON, Va. - James Watson, an Arlington, Va. man, was arrested after allegedly attacking his roommate for drawing a crude image on Watson's face with permanent marker while he was asleep, CBS DC reports.

Police say the attack happened around 5:30 a.m. on March 23 when Watson, 31, awoke to find the unwanted drawing on his left cheek. Watson then allegedly went after his roommate who sustained extensive injuries to his own face.

Another roommate drove the attack victim to the nearby Virginia Hospital Center where he pressed charges a short time later, police say, according to CBS DC.

Watson is facing charges of malicious wounding and is being held without bond at the Arlington County Detention Facility. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 18.

Sounds like some new roommates are in order...
