Malin Akerman and husband Roberto Zincone split

Malin Akerman and her husband are calling it quits, just months after the pair welcomed their first child.

The "Trophy Wife" actress, 35, and drummer Roberto Zincone have split, People confirmed on Monday.

She and Zincone, who married in 2007, welcomed son Sebastian in April.

Akerman has also appeared in films like "Couple's Retreat" and "Rock of Ages." On "Trophy Wife," she plays a woman who finds herself part of a blended family when she marries a man with three children and two ex-wives.

"I think it's pretty relatable," she told CBSNews.com in August of the ABC series. "It's about broken-up families and me coming in as a third wife -- a little younger -- dealing with two ex-wives and three kids' parent/teacher nights that I've never had to deal with before."
