Madonna is James Corden's latest guest on "Carpool Karaoke"
To get Madonna to hop in for a ride on “Carpool Karaoke,” James Corden had to ditch L.A. for New York.
But the trip seemed to be worth it, as Corden filmed a new installment of the popular “Late Late Show” segment in New York City on Wednesday.
The “Like a Virgin” singer confirmed the news via Twitter and Instagram, posting a photo of herself and Corden on the job. “Riding around Manhattan with this Hunk of Burning Love,” she wrote.
After taping the segment, Corden hurried off to host the Ad Council’s Annual Public Service Awards dinner.
The British host has previously ventured out of town for “Carpool Karaoke” sessions with Adele in the U.K. and Michelle Obama in Washington, D.C. -- where they spent their trip going around the White House driveway.
There’s no word just yet on when Madonna’s segment will air. Madonna’s latest concert film will premiere on Showtime on Dec. 9.
