Lynn Jackenheimer Update: Ashland, Ohio businesses offering reward for information about missing mother and her boyfriend

(CBS/AP) ASHLAND, Ohio - Businesses in Ashland are offering more than $7,000 in rewards for information about missing Ohio mother Lynn Jackenheimer or her boyfriend Nate Summerfield, who is a suspect in Jackenheimer's disappearance.

Jackenheimer's employer and other businesses have reportedly pledged rewards in an effort to get information. Police said Jackenheimer, 33, went to North Carolina last week with Summerfield, 27, and her two children but didn't return with them. Summerfield's brother called police to say Summerfield told him he strangled the woman.

Police said Summerfield returned his girlfriend's children to Ohio and left them with his family.

Jackenheimer has been missing since July 4. Police are looking for Summerfield, who's described as a person of interest.

Authorities said Summerfield, who is is about 5-foot-8 with brown hair and blue eyes, is driving a dark gray 2009 Honda Civic, Ohio license plate FMV7540.
