(AP) MANTEO, N.C. - Police in coastal North Carolina say a body discovered on the Outer Banks is an Ohio woman missing since her family vacationed there. Dare County Sheriff's Capt. Charles Nieman said Monday the body was that of Lynn Jackenheimer of Ashland, Ohio.

Her body was found Saturday just off a street about 20 to 30 miles from where the 33-year-old woman disappeared.

Nieman says Jackenheimer's cause of death hasn't been determined. He says an autopsy still under way was able to confirm her identity.

Jackenheimer was reported missing when she didn't come home from a vacation on the Outer Banks with her two children and her on-and-off boyfriend, Nate Summerfield. Police say Summerfield dropped the children off in Ashland and drove away.
