(CBS) Coldplay opened its set Friday night at Lollapalooza in Chicago with a piece of Amy Winehouse's big hit, "Rehab." The singer died July 23 in London.

Coldplay also played live some songs that aren't yet available in recorded versions. The songs have been making the rounds on the band's tour earlier this summer through Europe.

In addition to taking lots of pictures of Coldplay, CBS' Jake Barlow got in close to take photos of:

  • TAB the Band, featuring Adrian and Tony Perry, whose dad is Aerosmith's Joe Perry.
  • Young the Giant, an Irvine, Calif., band that will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28.
  • White Lies, a band from London. Its most recent album, "Ritual," came out in January 2011.
  • Joy Formidable, which put out "The Big Roar" in January.
  • Foster the People, featuring Mark Foster, Mark Pontius and Cubbie Fink.
  • Portugal. The Man, a band we've featured in our "Why aren't you listening to..." series. The band reported Monday via Twitter that its van, trailer and gear were stolen sometime during the festival.
