Lindsay Lohan's driving case returns to Los Angeles court
(CBS/AP) LOS ANGELES - Lindsay Lohan's attorney will return to court Friday for a hearing in the actress' latest criminal case, which stems from a car crash last summer.

Lohan, 26, isn't required to attend the hearing, which will address misdemeanor charges that she lied to police about driving recklessly in a June 2012 car crash. The hearing is intended to take care of any issues before the trial takes place on March 18.
Lohan's attorney, 'Mark Heller, also plans to meet with prosecutors Friday to try to negotiate a plea deal. He wants to delay the case so Lohan can pursue psychotherapy and perform community service.
Lohan was on probation for a 2011 theft case at the time of the accident and she faces jail time if a judge determines she violated her probation.
