(CBS) Lindsay Lohan will not be starring alongside John Travolta in the mobster biopic "Gotti: Three Generations."

The actress is no longer in talks to play Victoria Gotti in the film, People magazine reported Wednesday.

Producer Marc Fiore told People, "We are not talking any further about Lindsay playing Victoria. She is no longer being considered. The talks have stopped. We are going to meet with other people [for the role]."

Just last week, Fiore confirmed at a press conference that he was in talks with Lohan but nothing was finalized.

On Wednesday, he didn't explain why the discussions ended, but said the actress' legal troubles were not the reason.

"She's a wonderful person," he told People. "Her legal case has nothing to do with it. We just couldn't reach terms."
