Lindsay Lohan to attend White House Correspondents' Dinner
(CBS News) Lindsay Lohan has scored an invite to Saturday's White House Correspondents' Association Dinner.
The actress' rep Steve Honig confirmed to the Washington Post that she will attend as a guest of Fox News' Greta Van Susteren.
According to the report, Honig said Lohan's attorney Shawn Holley will also attend.
FishbowlDC notes that Van Susteren and her husband, John Coale, have made a tradition of landing head-turning guests for the D.C. gala. Previous ones include Kim Kardashian, Ozzy Osbourne and former vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
That's not the only piece of Lohan news to come out this week - on Monday, Lifetime officially confirmed that the actress, who is trying to stage a comeback after years of legal troubles, will portray Elizabeth Taylor in the network's TV movie "Liz & Dick," about the star's love affair with actor Richard Burton. Production is set to begin in June.
