Lindsay Lohan in Talks to Host "Saturday Night Live"

NEW YORK (CBS) Lindsay Lohan may be returning to "Saturday Night Live" this December for another turn as host.

The actress, recently freed from a stint in jail and court-ordered rehab, is reportedly in talks to host the Dec. 4 episode of the sketch comedy show, according to newspaper reports.

The report in Daily News.comes after Lohan made her first post-jail appearance in a taped segment at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, during which she made fun of her recent troubles.

"You think anyone wants to work with a drunk?" she demanded of host Chelsea Handler. "Take it from me - they don't."

An "SNL" spokeswoman told the Daily News, "We never comment on upcoming hosts until they're announced."

If the deal goes through, this will be Lohan's third time on "SNL." She served as host of the May 1, 2004, episode, and again on April 16, 2006.

The new season of "SNL" begins Sept. 25, with host Amy Poehler and musical guest Katy Perry.
