Lessons From A Monkey

In this short video, I look at the parallels of the Francois Langur monkey from South East Asia and small business.

In a nutshell (and without giving the game away), these little monkeys have a real reason to stand out when they first arrive on Planet Earth and for them it's crucially important that they know:

  • Whose attention they're after
  • What's needed to get noticed
Not unlike the needs of many a small business. I cite the example of a friend of mine who wants to get the attention of a particular prospect group, but who historically found it tricky to build their interest.

That was until he started thinking like a monkey and got to the bottom of his prospects' hot buttons.
