Learn the Proper Way to Send Group E-mails

When you compose a message that's intended for a batch of co-workers, clients, etc., do you put everyone's e-mail address in the To: field? That's bad form. For starters, it allows every recipient to see every other recipient's e-mail address (a particularly bad move if this is a customer list). Worse than that, if one of them clicks Reply All, the reply will go to the entire group, not just you -- a potentially embarrassing situation.

So, what's the solution? Simple: Use your e-mail client's BCC field (which stands for "blind carbon copy" -- talk about an anachronism!) for all the recipients' addresses.
