Leahy, Specter Ask Gonzales To "supplement" Testimony

Sens. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) and Arlen Specter (R-Pa.), the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, want Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to "supplement" the testimony he gave to their panel last week regarding the firing of eight U.S. attorney.

There was no single issue that the two senators wanted more info on. Instead, they want Gonzales to give them a response to the dozens of questions to which he answered "I can't remember" or "I can't recall."
