Lauryn Hill welcomes sixth child
(CBS) Lauryn Hill has a new addition to her growing brood.
The former Fugees singer welcomed her sixth child, a baby boy, over the weekend, according to reports. The name of the child was not released.
A source told BlackCelebKids.com, that although "mother and baby are fine," there were complications with the delivery.
"The little boy was delivered with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck," the source said, adding, "All is well now and everyone is happy."
Hill, 36, announced she was expecting while performing at a concert in Detroit last month.
She has five children with Bob Marley's son Rohan, who congratulated the new mom on Twitter Monday.
"I'm forwarding all well wishes to Ms. Hill on the birth of her new son," he wrote. "I'm sure she'll appreciate the love being sent to her."
The newborn's father has yet to be identified, and the younger Marley has said the sixth child is not his.
"I'm not married and I don't have anyone expecting anything," he tweeted after Hill announced she was pregnant.
