LAPD horse tagged by graffiti artist

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a brazen graffiti artist who tagged the backside of an LAPD horse in broad daylight, reports CBS Los Angeles.

The incident took place Thursday at Venice Beach. The officer was working a crime-suppression detail there when an unknown suspect marked the horse, part of the LAPD's Metropolitan Division's Mounted Platoon, with the initials R.B.S.

The silver graffiti was reportedly removed from "Charly" later that evening.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Pacific Division Detectives at (310) 482-6313.
